Eight years young and just hitting my stride! I’m Kari, a 9-pound Shih Tzu girl who came to Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue from a local shelter, and let me tell you — I was ready for my glow-up. <br/><br/>Sure, I’ve got a little Cruella de Vil energy going on with my fabulous black and white hair, but I promise I’m about a million times sweeter. I’m a total lap dog who just wants to love you and be loved right back. Is that too much to ask? I think not. <br/><br/>I’m a well-mannered little lady — housebroken, a good eater, and I ride like a dream in the car. I know my name, I go outside without a fuss, and I have absolutely no problem sharing a bed (just ask my foster mom). I get along with other dogs and ask that my canine siblings respect my space, and I’d do best in a home with older, dog-savvy kids. I haven’t met any cats yet. <br/><br/>At 8 years old, I know exactly what I want: a cozy spot on your lap, a warm bed at night, and someone who thinks I’m the most precious thing they’ve ever seen.
