Our Mission

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels and some small breeds throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchipped. FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will experience the love and care they deserve for the rest of their lives.

Adoption Policy

**We do not arrange meet and greets without an approved adoption application. **First step is to submit an application through our website. **If you make it past the review and vet reference stages, you will be contacted about a home check and/or to submit photos of your home. **If you pass the home check, you will be contacted to talk to the dog's foster family and arrange a time to meet the dog. **Adoptions are finalized after the first few weeks. Vet records are sent and the dog's microchip is transferred to the new adopter.
