Karev aka Rover Great Dane Mix Cincinnati, OH

Meet Karev (Rover), a one year old, 100 pound Great Dane!!! This big gorgeous hunk was adopted a few months ago, after being rescued from a high intake shelter, but was recently returned because he was being mouthy with neighborhood kids. His previous adopter also didn't have another dog which we believe was causing him some anxiety.

Upon his return, he stayed a few days at our trainer's house and received a good report card!!!! This lovable lug could certainly use some basic training and has no idea about the concept of personal space but he's eager to learn and will make a fantastic addition to the family.

He, like most Great Danes, loves to lay around and snuggle. He likes to chase the ball in the backyard but tires out easily so he does not need a lot of exercise. Watch out for his tail though, especially when he gets excited and starts doing zoomies!!! Needless to say, he's not a very graceful Great Dane and will slip and slide on slick floors.

We feel as though Karev would benefit greatly from having another medium to large sized dog in the house to play with or simply keep him company. Due to his size and tail whipping abilities, older or no kids would be best.
