Meet Karen
Hi, my official name is Karen, but my foster family calls me Ginger! I am a one year old Shepard mix who had a rough life as a stray in Texas. Thankfully, I was rescued and brought here to Wisconsin and I'm currently living with my foster family in Sturgeon Bay.
My favorite thing to do is snuggle in bed and keep you warm. But don't let that fool you! I also love to speed around the backyard and play like a goofball. I hardly ever bark. Not even when my foster brother does! And I'm house trained! Because I've been through a lot, I need someone who will be kind and patient with me. Every day I get a little more comfortable with new noises and situations. Unexpected noises and movements still frighten me but I have already improved so much. I have a heart of gold and a face that you can't help but love. My foster family loves me very much and they think that whoever adopts me will be very happy!
Karen is UTD on shots, spayed, heart worm checked (negative) and microchipped. Apply for her at lastpawrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $300. The money will go towards saving the lives of more dogs like Karen who are on death row in Texas.
501(c) Approved Wisconsin Agriculture License #285589-DS. — with Danielle Calhoun and 2 others.
