Kaiser 3402's Story

06/15/26. Meet KAISER! This devilishly handsome Doberman boy is looking for a new home through no fault of his own.

Kaiser is about 3 years old. He was found as a stray with a tight rope tied around his neck by two of our amazing volunteers. After looking into his history, we learned he had ended up with us last year when his owner lost him—then later reclaimed him. This time, no one came forward to claim him, despite our multiple attempts to contact them.

Whatever his past, it likely wasn’t an easy one. But even after being let down by people, Kaiser has proven himself to be a loving, smart, happy boy who craves human affection and attention.

While he seems to enjoy most other dogs outside, he’s best suited as the only canine in the home. We don’t have any history of him with young children or cats, but he does well with teens and up.

With his background, Kaiser would thrive with patient, committed adopters—ideally someone who works from home—so he has time to decompress and settle in.

Kaiser is truly spectacular and has already captured the hearts of many of our volunteers. Given the chance, he’d love to be your loyal best friend and join you on all your summer adventures.

It all starts with an application. Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs.
