Meet June
June has been out to foster for quite some time. The foster home was hoping to adopt her, but there is something in her mind that just won't let her trust the man of the house. She is unaccepting of him nearly every day when he comes home and will growl, but by the end of the evening she is laying on the couch with him getting petted.
Her happiest forever home might be one with only women and children, as she loves the kids.
UPDATE from foster: June ( we have been calling her Junie bug) is fitting right in! She ignores the cats if they don’t run from her, so that is great! She loves snuggling, going for walks, and belly rubs She is a little wary of men, but my husband is working on building the trust with her. She slept in a crate the first two days, but has been sleeping on the couch with our other dog.
June is a 1 1/2 year old Heeler mix who came into us with a litter of puppies. She is a very sweet girl although a little on the shy side. She gets along amazing with other dogs,is good with adults and kids. We have no cat information but she is pretty chill.
She is housebroken, spayed, current on her shots, wormed and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $225.00. In order to adopt you need to submit an application - go to our website at www.patriotsforpets.com to do that.
