June Treeing Walker Coonhound Fairmont, MN

June is a beautiful Treeing Walker Coonhound. She originally arrived at MCHS as a stray. June was spayed, vaccinated, and was adopted into a home. She lived as an indoor dog, and her adopters reported she is a big lap dog and is a fairly energetic girl. She is not, however, good with cats - so is back with us seeking a feline free home.

Since June was a stray, we cannot be sure of her exact age. Our best guess is that she is around 3 - 5 years of age. June loves people, and has made a canine playmate at the shelter. That said, she does not "show" well at the shelter. She is often barking/baying, and running along the fences. Poor girl just wants to be out of this place and in a home where she's a loved companion! Can you look past her first impressions, and see our "June Bug" for who she really is?
