Julia! This little mama just makes us smile!

She was a stray that came in skin and bones and clearly had very recently had a litter of puppies.
The shelter has done her good, she’s put on weight and her body is slowly starting to heal from the overbreeding she experienced in her past life.

She is a little spitfire that loves everything- walks, treats, people, potty outside, rolling in the grass, you name it she’s ready to go!

She’s a small Pitbull mix, around 40 pounds, is low to the ground and estimated to be about 4 years old.

She walks good on leash, shows signs of being housetrained, and is sponsored with a reduced adoption fee and training by the Buffalo Barkery.

She will co-exist with a dog but has not been interested in actually playing in our playgroups so a very calm dog or a home where she’s the Queen is best.


Because of the COVID19 situation, the shelter is closed to the general public. If you would like to meet any of the adoptable dogs, please fill out an application online (if you are not already pre-approved) , call the shelter, and leave a message with your name and phone number and the dog you're interested in. Have patience, and they will call you back when they can. From there, a time will be scheduled for you to come and meet the dog. Please be patient, and remember they are very short staffed at the moment.
