Meet JR - TRAINED DOG
Meet JR
We call him J R, not “junior.” Don’t be fooled by those intense amber eyes, JR is a low key, mellow, very sweet adult bully boy ready to chill out with his forever family.
This easy boy will succeed in any environment. He would enjoy the dog park, long walks, and indoor play too. He’s not a sport/performance dog by any stretch of the imagination, but he is right on track with his training and has already mastered all of his foundations for obedience.
He’s a lovely, neutral dog.
JR would do well in a family with respectful teenagers, adults, or even an older couple/single looking for a companion.
We picked him from the shelter because he was a staff favorite. He’s quiet, always great out in playgroup with other dogs, but was being overlooked at the shelter because of his intimidating look when his mouth is closed and your typical “black dog” issue. Black dog syndrome is a real thing!
JR is:
55lb, male, adult, bully mix
Neutral to people he doesn’t know
Very dog social/playful
Legal to live in Miami Dade County (all our dogs are!)
A great deterrent (home protection!) if you want a dog with that “look”
