This handsome good boy is Journey!

Journey is an approximately 18-month-old male Retriever mix who weighs around 40 lbs. as an adult.

Journey was found on a porch with a badly deformed front leg. But he was still such a loving and affectionate boy! We had his leg repaired and he has adjusted very nicely. While doing his surgery, we found out he was positive for heartworm. He has been treated and given a clean bill of health.

He is such a happy boy! He loves playing with the other playful dogs at daycare and needs a home with another playful dog to help his burn his energy. He does have a strong prey drive, so no cats or small animals (non-dog) in the home. He has also done well with the children that he has met.

Journey can be a bit reactive on the leash when seeing other dogs on the street. If you are a walker/runner, this can easily be worked on with guidance. But he is a sweetheart to everyone off the leash!

He is crate, house, and leash trained.

Journey is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $225.
