Hi, my name is Josey! I am a Dalmation/Pit Mix that came up to Wisconsin from Texas. My birthday is estimated to be around 5/20/2018 and I weigh close to 53 pounds. I came up with my puppies and was a wonderful mama. Now that I've been on my own and away from puppies, I have decided that I like to have human attention all to myself. I was adopted for a little bit but brought back because I didn't care for the other pets. I would benefit greatly as the only pet in the home. I love human attention and when I need a break, it's best to leave me be for a while. Obedience training would benefit us both greatly. Staff note: Josey is sweet but has her diva moments. She loves to be around people, going for walks and enjoying the outdoors. A big soft dog bed for naps is what she'll always choose to sleep on. Josey also loves belly rubs and squeaky toys. She is a supreme sniffer and will sniff EVERYTHING.

My adoption fee has been sponsored! Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
