I'm the little survivor with a big future! My name is Joseph, and I'm a 3 month old, 25 pound Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. I'm the lone survivor of my litter of nine. I came from an abandonment situation, and my momma had heartworms, so my foster family has been caring for me since I was just 5 weeks old. I've had a rough beginning, but I'm ready for the happy ending I deserve. I'm an easygoing, incredibly smart, and oh-so-sweet boy. I absolutely love being outside, where I can run, explore, and take in everything around me. After about 20 minutes of good, rough-and-tumble puppy play, I'm perfectly happy to curl up for a nice nap. I'm working hard on my housebreaking, crate training, and leash skills. I'm also learning my basic commands, and I can already do an excellent sit! I'm a quick learner and eager to please, so with the right guidance, I know I can reach my full potential. Like most puppies, I'm teething right now, which means I can be a little bite-y. But I'm very redirectable and learning what is appropriate to chew. I need a puppy-savvy home that understands that raising a young dog takes patience, consistency, training, and plenty of positive reinforcement.<br/>I've already overcome so much in my short life, and now I need someone who will help me become the amazing dog I'm meant to be.
