Jillian Boxer & Labrador Retriever Mix Tuscaloosa, AL

How can you resist a dog with an under bite!!?? We sure can’t! Meet Jillian, an 11-month to 1 year old female boxer/lab mix. Jillian has a reddish tan smooth coat with a boxer muzzle and under bite. She is pretty lean right now weighing 31 pounds but she needs to pack on a few more pounds to get to around 35-40 when full grown.

Jillian was pulled from our local animal shelter where she had been picked up as a stray by Animal Control. She had been down there over 6 weeks so she was ready for a break.

Jillian is a very sweet, loving happy dog. She is always so happy to meet new people and get attention. She is still a puppy in many ways so she will need training and structure to help her develop into a mature dog. Jillian has a nice energy level so she will need exercising.

Jillian will need a fenced in yard to run and play in but she is not to be an outside dog only – she wants to be with her pack! She seems to do well with other dogs and should be fine with children 8 and over. We have started on her crate training.

Jillian is up to date on her vet care, spayed, heartworm negative and is microchipped. She is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Come check out this adorably cute dog and be ready to take her home!!
