Jersey Lou(medium) and Marley Doodle( taller of the two).
They lived with one family all their lives and when they moved, they were surrendered to the shelter. The girls endured the ultimate betrayal. Their humans were not worthy of their loyalty. As the days passed, Jersey and Marley huddled together to comfort each other. Their sweet demeanor didn't go unnoticed by the shelter volunteers only to become shelter favorites. It was in their ELEVENTH hour the girls gained their freedom and a new lease on life. Sadly, as all rescues, we never have enough fosters, so the girls are in boarding for many months. Jersey and Marley are such well-behaved girls that they rarely are in their kennels. THEY are privileged to have free run of the building and they love the sofas in the lobby. Two little couch potatoes;) Jersey is one year older than Marley, born in 2010. Marley born in 2011.
Jersey is more confident, always ready to explore, unlike Marley that stays close to her human. We hope to find a kind heart or two that will take Jersey and Marley under their wings. To live their remaining years loved and in safety, to belong... The reward is priceless...
