Born approx. December 2013, Jay is a male Terrier mix seeking a forever home! According to his foster family, Jay is a fun loving, extroverted boy. He will go in and out of the doggie door but is still working on potty training. He loves people and children. He gets along well with other dogs but tends to be dominant and takes time to warm up to larger male dogs. He requires a home with a securely fenced yard with adults or adults and children over 5. Mikey's Chance Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please visit Mikeyschance.com to find out about our adoption procedures. We do not have a central facility where you can meet our dogs, because they are in foster homes. Once you have been approved to adopt a dog we will gladly arrange for you to meet any dogs that are potentially a good fit for your home. We carefully review each application and place dogs based on a variety of criteria. Ultimately, we will always act in the best interest of the dog. We will conduct a background check on each adult living in the home. We will contact your vet. Mikey’s Chance also conducts home-checks to assure the best possible placement of all our rescue animals. PLEASE NOTE: It is our policy to only adopt to homes where the current pets: Are up to date on vaccinations; Have been either spayed or neutered; and Have received routine veterinary care. Applications that do not meet this policy shall be denied.
