Jax's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

JAX is available!

Jax is a wonderful four-year-old neutered male Goldendoodle. He has a striking coat of mixed colors - photos don’t do him justice. He is proud of his coat and loves to be groomed. Jax is currently about 64 lbs and will need to lose about 10-14 lbs to be at his optimal weight. That shouldn’t be hard to accomplish as he loves people and is eager to play and loves to “talk.”

Jax is very happy-go-lucky and still very bouncy - he might be too much for toddlers or frail adults. He is house-trained and crate-trained, well-adjusted and is not anxious or destructive when left alone. Jax is really good at entertaining himself, but loves cuddle time and could benefit from some training to curb his enthusiastic greetings. Jax did great with a resident small dog in his original home, does generally well on a leash but can pull when he sees another dog.

If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other available AGR dogs, and want to know more about the process, please

. Note: WE DO NOT ADOPT OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA. All potential fosters and adopters must fill out an application, pay an application fee and have a home visit in order to be considered for any dog.

Arizona Golden Rescue's Adoption Policy
WE DO NOT ADOPT OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA. If you are interested in adopting from Arizona Golden Rescue, please visit our webpage at http://www.arizonagoldenrescue.org/ and complete an Online Adoption Application to begin the process, or send an e-mail to info@arizonagoldenrescue.org if you have questions and wish to be contacted. Please note: it is the policy of AGR not to place a dog under 3 years of age or a shelter dog with a family that has children under 3 years of age. Once we receive your application, a home visit will be scheduled. When your home visit is approved, you will be placed on our waiting list. Our sole purpose is to find the perfect home for the dog as the dog always comes first. Prior to adoption, all AGR dogs are given a full vet exam, including valley fever and heartworm tests, brought up to date on all vaccinations, given a microchip, neutered or spayed, and treated for any medical problems.
