Java (ADOPTED)

WELCOME TO HEARTS PROMISE SHELTIE RESCUE !!! and our most precious gal JAVA is now looking for her forever loving home to call her own and she has been a sweetheart here in foster care. Java is a youngster at 3 years and she would be a wonderful companion sheltie in any loving Sheltie home that likes a young and active pup and knows the sheltie breed. <br/> <br/>Java is a beautiful Tri color and mostly dark colored and black with just a little brown on her nose, and she is spayed and up to date on all of her vetting care, vaccinations and all of her bloodwork and testings. JAVA is just fine with other dogs and has wonderful house manners and is house trained and would need little work on her leash walking skills but very much enjoying her fenced in yard with her foster family. Cats would be OK with her mild temperament, but not tested in the foster home. Java is a little overweight and currently at 34 pounds (weight coming down) and she really needs to get down to 28-30 pound range... so a weight loss diet and exercise needs to be in Javas future home. She is an active gal, so weight loss should not be a problem. She is a very sweet companion sheltie gal and loves to be up on her foster mommys lap. She really warms up to her foster mommy and is a little shy around daddy... but show her some treats, and she warms up pretty quickly. She is looking for the loving forever home to make her dreams come true and she is a beautiful young gal that has so much love to give and all of those happy smiles. We don't know about small children, so best she has a home with no toddlers. :) <br/><br/>JAVA will need a SECURE FECNCED IN YARD to run and play... She loves to be outside and explore the secure yard. Please... NO exceptions. (Please do not inquire if you do not have a secure fenced in yard) . We adopt to forever homes here in the state of PA and will consider adoption homes just over the PA state line, but we do NOT do long distance adoptions.
