Jasper came to us after he was turned over to a partner rescue when his human was no longer able to care for him. . Jasper is a true diamond in the rough. The first leg of his transport to us was a van full of cats, which he politely ignored. He met multiple strangers, got in and out of multiple vehicles, and was a complete gentleman. Jasper travels well in a crate in a vehicle, walks nicely on leash, is situationally housebroken, and has been appropriate when introduced to strange dogs. . Dogs that have not lived previously with children will not be offered to homes where young children reside. We do not 'test' dogs with children or cats, since testing will not show an accurate picture, and may give false comfort to their new home. If a dog has lived with children or cats, that will be stated above. We do not place dogs as ESA, nor will we place a dog as hypo-allergenic.
