We received a call that two dogs were abandoned in an area of AL known as no man's land and that they were almost starved to death. We went out and was only able to find one. Two days later we were notified that the other one was back. He was terrified of people. I finally opened a smell can of soup and put it in the back seat and hid behind the car. When he decided to go inside and check it out I had him! He's very submissive but in the last few weeks he's really come out of his shell. He will make someone very lucky to have him!

Upon receipt of your application, the rescuer and foster in AL will contact you so you can ask any specific questions you may have! If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement!

Adoption Donation: Unless otherwise stated in the pet's bio, our standard adoption fee is $250 which covers age appropriate vaccines (DHPP vax) and (Rabies vax if 12 weeks and older), utd on flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention, worming, heartworm test @ age 6 months or older, microchip, fostering costs and health certificate.
