Meet Jasper

Poor Jasper was found as a stray. This 1-1.5 year old 10lb chihuahua is a sweet boy who loves to come up to your face and give you all the kisses in the world! While small in stature, he is FULL of love! He needs someone to give him time to adjust to living in a new space. His forever human must be someone who is looking for a lap dog, because he sure loves to it hop on his foster's lap and follow her around everywhere. He is potty-trained and does well with canine friends, but will need an adopter who is patient and willing to work with him on doing slow and managed introductions to new dogs. He is crate-trained and prefers to sleep in his crate. He will need continued confidence building as he settles into his forever home. He has luxating patella in both of his back legs, but surgery is not recommended at this point, and is taking joint supplements and making sure he doesn't jump up and down high surfaces.
