Jamie Labrador Retriever & Husky Mix Guelph, ON

Jamie is a 9 week old puppy gorgeous blue eyed stunner who loves to do typical puppy things - run, chase, and wrestle with her brother, swim, chew and nap. In other words, she’s a perfectly well adjusted puppy. Jamie loves people and while up north and in her foster home, she has been carried, held, pet, and cuddled by people of different shapes and sizes and she is calm and accepting of everyone.

Jamie is quick to please and she is the first to come when called and knows to sit for treats. She is curious, intelligent, and interactive. This little girl is doing well with her house training, crate training and leash walking. She is not overly rambunctious but like all puppies, but part of that is her current playmates and schedule. She will benefit from patience, fun, exercise and someone who understands the different developmental stages that all puppies move through on their way to adulthood.

Jamie goes outside to do her business after meals, naps and car rides. She knows this but it’s a good idea to keep an eye on her so you don’t miss her puppy cues. She is sweet and calm and wants to learn new things and experience new things. This stunning blue eyed wonder would be a good partner for someone who leads an interesting life and who is looking for that special four legged to share it with as Jamie will flourish with activity and stimulation as well as downtime.

Jamie is looking for a puppy smart home and like all pups, would love a dog companion or kind, respectful children to play with. Because she is a puppy, she will only be adopted to the lucky someone who is home most of the day (even before Covid) as puppies need guidance and interaction to reach their full potential. Jamie is living with her brother and her 10 month old foster brother so her new people need to recognize that she this will be a big transition for her.

Jamie is up to date on core vaccines (DAPP and rabies) for her age and dewormed. She will be spayed/microchipped when services are available and before 5 months of age. Her adoption fee is $600. She is currently located in Hamilton, ON.

**Puppy training is mandatory for anyone interested in adopting Jamie (no need to apply if you have no intention of going to training). Adoption process includes application, virtual home visit, phone interview and meet & greet.
