Meet Jack Tripper- ADOPTED!

NAME: Jack Tripper AGE/GENDER: Young (born 12/20/15), Male BREED: Husky/Retreiver Mix - Mother is a red husky/Father unknown TEMPERAMENT: Energetic, affectionate and friendly! WEIGHT: 50+ lbs and growing HOUSE TRAINING: Yes! CRATE TRAINING: Crate trained. He has been sleeping in his crate at night and when we leave the house during the day. OTHER DOGS: He is great with other dogs. Socializing is going well and we are continuing to work on it. He loves to play and loves the company of dogs and people! CATS: Unsure about cats. He has seen cats but has not been in a home with cats. Huskies typically have some prey drive; however, since he is a mix, his prey drive may not be as high. CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older ADOPTION DONATION: $375 HEALTH: Jack had parvo as a very young pup and is fully recovered from that. Otherwise he is healthy! Jack has been neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. In addition, all pets adopted from Motley Zoo come with 30 days of free pet insurance provided by Shelter Care. HISTORY: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find him a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM NAME'S FOSTER HOME: If Nike had a four-legged representative, Jack Tripper would be their pup. Hiking? He’s ready to hit the trail! Running? Lace up your shoes, he’ll be tough to beat! Walking? Jack knows it’s an official Olympic sport! This Husky/Retriever mix puts his enthusiasm for life into everything he does, from playing with children and other dogs, to his devoted affection and cuddling. Jack is house and crate trained, and responsive to vocal commands, but is still a pup-in-training. He can easily be distracted and will benefit from dedicated, consistent teaching as he matures, and a routine that includes daily activity. The upfront investment will be returned tenfold over a lifetime of four-legged love, loyalty and laughs! If you’ve been searching for a companion that can match your family’s energy and enjoy your hobbies with you, then look no further: Jack Tripper is ready to take on the roads and trails with you. Contact us to learn more. All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and either a Martingale collar or a harness, depending on each dog's particular needs. Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization that is run entirely by volunteers. Motley Zoo does not have a brick and mortar shelter location. Instead, all our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. Please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application and we will work toward approving you as an adopter with our rescue so that we can set a time for you to meet! For more information, please visit www.motleyzoo.org . Thank you for considering adopting a dog in need!
