Izzy Mixed Breed Madison, WI

Meet Izzy! Izzy is about 2-years-old and 50-pounds. She had been overlooked at a southern shelter because of her skin allergies, which could be food-related or environmental. Our Underdog vet will figure it out and get her comfortable! She is improving a lot.
Izzy is a great dog! Friendly, playful, well mannered, and very much a lover of people! She loves playing out in the snow with other dog friends, she loves a good game of chase. Sometimes she gets a little mouthy with other big dogs so we are working on her "off switch" which is going really well. She also can be a bit zestful with smaller dogs, so a dog of similar in size and who likes to play would be her best fit. She also wouldn’t mind being “the one and only” dog in your home since she is so people-focused.
Izzy loves participating in bedtime stories. She always gets to look at the pictures with my toddler. Izzy really is a sweet princess who walks well on a leash and loves to snuggle in your lap! I am pretty sure if a human is touching Izzy she thinks she is in heaven!
She is beautiful and will be a fabulous addition to a new family!

Update 11/19/19 - Izzy is doing great with her allergies! She is doing great taking the antibiotics and antihistamines! Her skin is improving daily and she is so much less itchy than she was. Izzy wants to share that she really doesnt want her allergies to get in your way of meeting her! She is such a sweet girl, and is waiting very patiently to find her forever home!

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters OR they have the option of bringing the pet to Underdog for complimentary completion of these vaccines)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 6mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $275. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $350. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $250.
