Issac's Story

Meet Isaac!

Isaac is a 2-year-old,18 pounds small mixed breed boy who looks like a little Brittany Spaniel with maybe a bit of Dachshund mixed in. He’s a sweet, gentle guy who can be a little shy at first, but once he gets comfortable, he’s ready to be your cherished companion.

Isaac came from a hoarding situation and spent several months in the shelter while his court case was resolved. Now he’s finally getting the chance to experience what he’s been waiting for—a loving home of his own. He lives happily with dogs of all ages and sizes, although he especially enjoys the company of the older, calmer ones. He has also done well meeting cats.

Isaac is already learning to go to the door when he needs to go out, so we expect he’ll catch on quickly with consistency. He’s not a huge fan of being crated, but he tolerates it, and he sleeps peacefully through the night in bed with his foster parents.

Isaac would probably be happiest in a calmer home where he can relax and enjoy his people without too much chaos. While he starts out acting like he wants to go on a walk, after half a block he decides they really aren't his favorite. But who knows, maybe with time he may actually learn to love them. For now, he’s perfectly content to hang out at home and soak up some love.
He is neutered, up to date on all shots and microchip.
After everything he’s been through, Isaac deserves a family who will give him the time and patience to come out of his shell. We think the best version of Isaac is still waiting to be discovered.
If you think Isaac is perfect match for your family please fill out application online at
Www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com
