MY STORY
I used to have a home..I used to have a life of my very own. I remember that one day I met this handsome stranger and we fell madly in love. I remember getting pregnant and sharing the news with him. We were so excited to welcome our pups into the world and raising them together until they found forever homes but our owners had different plans for us. A few weeks after my pups were born they decided we were too much of a burden and they loaded me and my pups into the car. I was very nervous but my love for them told me it would be okay, that maybe it was a checkup to the vet. My owners picked a nice rural spot in the country and dumped my puppies and I and drove off. That was the last time I ever saw them, looking out the window and watching them..my home..my life disappear into nothing more than a cloud of dust. They did not even attempt to make sure we would be safe and within a few hours, the worst thing I could imagine happened. I lost a pup. We were walking along side a road, trying to trace our way back home when a car came out of nowhere and my pup was just not fast enough.. I was not fast enough. My poor baby lost his life that night and I swore I wouldn't trust again..what had I done..what had my puppies done to deserve this fate??!!
Eventually a nice lady found us and caught us. She gave us food, water, and shelter until a rescue came for us. I was so nervous, another car ride..was I going to be dumped again...would my puppies have yet another obstacle thrown in their way? I was so wrong though, we ended up at an awesome foster home with a huge kennel and play pen, along with warm blankets, toys, and plenty of food.
-That was my original past. My pups and I had been adopted for a couple years now, but sadly due to the household dog not liking me I am being surrendered back to rescue. My owner wants me to find a place where everyone is going to love me. So, that is my story in a nutshell. Ready to hear about my personality?!

ABOUT ME
My name is Hope and I am a 4.5 year old female Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. I weigh around 53lbs and have a gorgeous cream coat with the prettiest mask! Here is what my foster says about me
"Hope loves cats ! She mothers them and enjoys snuggling with them. She would do well in a home with another semi active submissive dog her size or smaller ( 50lbs.) She would not do well in a home with children or with someone who wants a travel companion. Hope is very very sweet girl who just wants love . She is still shy but has made some progress since she has been with me ."

My personality could be described more as introverted. I am shy and nervous when first meeting new people. I have not been taken any where other than pet smart a few times and the vet because I do get car sick when riding more than couple miles. I did fine meeting strange dogs and people while in petsmart. I do not jump on people either. I walk perfectly on a leash, but as mentioned above do get car sick. My personality inside she is very calm and loving but outside I am very energetic. I like to play with the other two dogs that are my size . We run and wrestle together. I sometimes plays fetch but enjoy playing with dogs more than people. I am the perfect house dog. I have never needed to be kenneled and have excellent house manners. I will play with the occasional dog bone, but am not a huge fan of toys. I am also not a water dog. I am potty trained, and am given free roam of the house when no one is home. At night, I sleep on my doggie bed. I do tend to be more vocal outside than in. I am good with other dogs and cats. I have never been around any young kids.

WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR IN MY NEW HOME ACCORIDNG TO MY FOSTER

-Hope loves cats . She mothers them and loves to cuddle with them . She loves to go on walks around the neighborhood. She is still shy when inside but more confident when she is outdoors . She would do well in a home with another submissive dog that is semi playful. She would probably not be good in a home with young children or with someone who wants a traveling companion.
