Hoot's Story
Hoot is a sweet, easygoing pup who’s already proven he’s a survivor. He came to us as an owner surrender with Parvo—sadly, his entire litter was sick, and only he and his brother Blackhawk pulled through.
While we’re not certain of his exact breed mix (we were told Mastiff/Kangal), what we do know is that he’s an affectionate, gentle puppy with a heart of gold. Hoot gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home and even does well with dog-savvy cats.
He’s still working on potty training, but he’s already a pro with crate training. Leash manners are a work in progress, but he’s eager to learn. Hoot will grow into a big boy, so preference will be given to a home with a fully fenced yard. If children are in the home, we ask they be over the age of 5.
Estimated DOB: 4/14/25
