Slowly but surely he has shown us progress and is gaining confidence. Hook used to not approach people at all, but now will approach quietly and even give kisses. We are so happy he is coming around and realizing all the good things that life can be after spending his first handful of years on a breeding farm!<br/><br/>Hook loves to be around other dogs and relies on them for confidence and to learn from. He will need another canine companion in his forever home that he can model after and continue building confidence from. He loves to snuggle up with his other fluffy dog friends, and does great with sharing his toys. He is sneaky and usually wont let people see when he is having fun playing with a toy, but we have caught him a few times in his element chewing on a bone or squeezing a squeaky toy. He is a very sweet, quiet and calm boy but we are sure with more time that he will continue to blossom and more personality will show! His beautiful eyes will melt your heart.<br/><br/>Like many breeder-release dogs, Hook will need a patient adopter that understands his past and is willing to let him adjust at his own pace. Every small victory, whether it's approaching for a treat or seeking out attention, is a big step forward for a dog who is learning about life beyond the farm. Hook has made slow progress, but progress nonetheless, and we are so excited to continue seeing his little victories every day! <br/><br/>Please see our Resources page and the breeder release article to find out more information on what to expect when adopting a breeder release dog.<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEE: $650<br/><br/>To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION at fluffydog.net<br/><br/>Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. We do not guarantee dog breeds.<br/>WI License #270548.
