He is 6 years old and approximately 12 lbs. Hook is very athletic and runs, jumps, twirls and prances with grace and speed.<br/><br/>Hook began life on a farm and was part of their breeding stock. I’m certain he was coveted for his sky blue eyes and curly handsome coat of white, grey and black. When he arrived at Fluffy Rescue he was quite distressed and hesitant to trust his new caretakers. As time went along he found kindness, routine and safety ease his fears and Hook became curious and trusting of those who interacted with him day to day.<br/><br/>Hook is now in a foster home, and as the weeks have gone by, he has settled into a comfortable pace and is totally enamored with his foster mom. He will transfer this love to his forever mom when the time comes.<br/><br/>*Hook enjoys a safely fenced yard and at this time one is recommended for Hook to be able to transition easily to his new home when adopted.<br/>*Hook will need a female as his primary caretaker. He will bond closely with her as he’s a little wary of men and those he doesn’t trust. (He does fine in his foster home with the men who live there.)<br/>*Hook is optional on having another dog in his home. He will benefit from a dog pal but he will also be fine on his own.<br/>*Hook will thrive in a quieter/predictable environment.<br/><br/>Hook enjoys doing fast zoomies in a fenced yard, he eats his food in his crate in the kitchen, he sleeps in a crate in his foster’s bedroom, he loves hunting the sneaky chipmunk in the yard and snoozing lazily on his favorite spot on the couch! Hook is gentle and cuddly!<br/><br/>Hook will bark and do a happy dance when people arrive home! What a fun greeting!! Sometimes when people who are not “his person” walk through the room he will alert with a bark or grrr. He isn’t aggressive at all but just nervous.<br/>Hook is perfect for grooming, for car rides and he loves following and snuggling near or on his mom. He is wonderful, entertaining and devoted! Hook likes to occasionally play and wrestle with other little dogs and at times will share a dog bed with his foster roommates.<br/><br/>Hook is almost house trained and uses the fenced yard. He hasn’t pottied on a walk but he does walk on a leash (a bit tentatively at times) for a short span. He is not afraid of thunder, traffic or loud sounds. He’s curious about the vacuum and lawn mower and has no fear of either one. His only apprehension is with people he doesn’t totally trust yet.<br/><br/>Hook is available to adopt and will be the most awesome little dog to his lucky person.
