Honcho's Story

Honcho is a 5-year-old pittie with boundless energy, a goofy personality, and the biggest heart. He's sweet, affectionate, and a total cuddle bug-once he's gotten his wiggles out. True to his pittie roots, he's playful, bouncy, and always ready to turn the simplest moment into fun.

Honcho is great with all kinds of people and does well with other dogs and even cats. He's social, friendly, and just wants to be included. Despite his excitement and enthusiasm, he's surprisingly quiet and rarely barks.

He's a smart boy, too! Honcho knows how to sit, lay down, and shake-and shaking is his favorite. In fact, every single time it's time to eat, he'll offer his paw without even being asked, just in case it speeds things along. It's one of his most endearing habits.

French fries are his absolute favorite treat, and he'll happily work for them with tail wags and endless affection. Honcho would thrive in a home that understands energetic dogs and can give him playtime, structure, and lots of love. He has so much personality and loyalty to give.

Honcho is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.
