HICKS's Story

Hicks is a beautiful 5-month-old spayed Husky/Great Dane mix (with a few extra breeds sprinkled in!) who is already stealing hearts with her gentle personality and loving nature. Weighing in at around 50 lbs and still growing, this sweet girl is expected to become quite large when fully grown—so she’s definitely a “big dog in the making!” Hicks is incredibly affectionate and has so much love to give her people. She enjoys companionship and is happiest when she feels safe and connected. While she has a sweet and friendly demeanor, Hicks can be a little nervous at times, especially with new environments or unexpected situations.
Because of her size and sensitive nature, Hicks’ ideal home would be

a detached house (no condos or apartments) where she has space to move comfortably.
A quieter household without young children, as loud or unpredictable noises can startle her, would be best.
She is looking for adopter who is patient and understanding, willing to help her continue building confidence at her own pace.

Hicks is still a young pup with lots of learning ahead of her, and with the right guidance, she’s sure to blossom into a wonderful, loyal companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, devoted dog and are ready to help a gentle giant grow into her best self, Hicks might just be the perfect addition to your family. If intersted please contact us at 905-832-2281 or animal.services@vaughan.ca
