Henry's Story

Henry-Beagle/Setter Male, ~ 2 ½ yr. (Jan. 2026)
Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application.
Henry came to the Rescue via a Dog Trainer. She had helped out a family who could no longer care for Henry. He's a good, young dog and has been in the Trainer's Prison Program. Henry has known the life of a family dog and seems happiest as an only dog, although gets along fine in the Program with the other dogs training also. Walks well on a leash and while in class. He's learned so much in the Program and the Head Trainer calls him 'extremely well trained'. He has some service/therapy dog training, knows Service Dog Tasks, such as: Block, Cover, Deep Pressure Therapy. He is about 50# in weight. Henry is also housetrained and crate trained. He's had basic obedience training. At this time, we do not know how he'll be with cats, as there are no cats in the Prison Program. He's not lived with a cat yet.
Henry's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Please include your location and a phone number for future communication.
