Helaena

Sweet Helaena is a 2.5 month old Pointer mix that came into rescue from a crowded shelter in AL. Our rescue partners reached out to us to let us know that the shelter was very close to mass euthanasia due to space- we knew we had to rescue Helaena and her siblings and help them find great homes here in Maine. She's a little overwhelmed in the shelter but will come out of her shell when she finds herself in a loving home. As a puppy, she will need a family whose schedule can accommodate the needs of a puppy and provide basic puppy training, exercise, and socialization. She is currently in AL but will be coming to Maine in early August and is available for adoption right now.<br/><br/>If you think you might be interested in adopting Helaena or just want to get pre-approved to adopt through us, please fill out an application on our website. Approved adopters are placed on our email list for each transport and receive our Google slides that we send to all pre-approved adopters before posting on Petfinder and our social media and are eligible to attend our meet and greet events.
