Though he may see shadows, sudden movements can startle him, especially during walks. Because of this, he thrives with a confident, experienced caregiver who can help him feel grounded and secure. Hatchi is strong on leash and reactive to dogs, cats, bikes, and cars that pass by, so he needs someone who’s comfortable working with large breeds and understands the power of positive reinforcement and patient training.<br/><br/>Despite his reactivity, Hatchi is a sweet, snuggly companion at heart. He melts into affection and is eager to please, especially when treats are involved! This intelligent boy responds to his name, is crate trained, house-trained, and has lived harmoniously with young children aged 7 and 8. He may do well with a calm, female dog companion but would not be compatible with cats.<br/><br/>Daily life with Hatchi includes administering eye drops, which he’ll need for the rest of his life. Thankfully, his love of treats makes this task pretty manageable. A fenced yard is essential, not because he’s tried to escape, but because his Husky instincts and natural curiosity make outdoor safety a must.<br/><br/>Hatchi is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and he’s ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love, structure, and confidence-building.
