Meet Harriet
pet id 44310432
Harriet is an approximately 3-4 year old bully breed mix who came to the shelter as a stray and was never claimed. Despite her current predicament, she is a very happy and outgoing gal; always eager to make new friends and start new adventures. Harriet loves to run and play and shows signs of being housebroken. She is a muscular and solidly built dog, probably in the 60 lb range. This black and white beauty can be pretty strong on a leash, so her owner should have some large breed experience to help work and train her. Harriet has been fine with the dogs she has met at the shelter, and more than eager to meet some of the other male dogs (as she is currently going through a heat cycle). Harriet has a condition known as "cherry eye" which will be fixed when she is spayed, post adoption. It will not add any additional cost to the adoption, and she should heal with no complications from the surgery. Come check out this lovely lady today!
Because of the COVID19 situation, the shelter is closed to the general public. If you would like to meet any of the adoptable dogs, please fill out an application online (if you are not already pre-approved) , call the shelter, and leave a message with your name and phone number and the dog you're interested in. Have patience, and they will call you back when they can. From there, a time will be scheduled for you to come and meet the dog. Please be patient, and remember they are very short staffed at the moment.
