Harmony Shepherd Mix Wheat Ridge, CO

Harmony (formally known as Oasis) arrived to us about 2 months before the end of 2019. She had after being struck by a car, and left for dead in the streets. A concerned group of people discovered her and acted immediately! When this girl arrived to us, she was unable to walk on her back legs and would drag herself around when she did move. We discovered her back legs were BOTH severely fractured and needed repair! Now, after MONTHS of surgeries, water therapy and exercise, this girl is walking well and has lots of confidence now! Harmony is ready for her new life and she's not afraid to show her excitement! She is a well behaved girl who loves to snuggle with her human friends, and loves everyone she meets! She loves to play with most dogs, and does just fine with them. She will however not do best with dogs larger than her (35lbs or larger) and will need a home without larger dogs. We believe with proper introductions, she will do fine with any pet! She enjoys walks, now that she can, but will not do best in an active home that enjoys long hiking trips, due to her injuries. She will how ever do just fine in a home where ! She would do best in a home with a completely fenced in yard. She is learning the dog door still, and is afraid of wood & tile flooring (we think this is because of learning to walk comfortably during her healing process).
