Harbour's Story

"Hi my name is Harbour and I was born November 8, 2024. I am a sweet male pup who is very grateful to have survived Parvo and recovered completely. I am now neutered, microchipped and vaccinated so this means I’m ready for my forever home! Even though I am young, I am crate trained and working on my potty training and making great progress. I love to be around other dogs and get along well with kids and kitties too! While nobody knows for sure what breed I am, is that even the most important part? I could be a Rottweiler / German Pinscher or perhaps even have some Chihuahua in me! Full grown I’ll likely be medium sized. Although I love being in my person’s lap, I’m also up for fun adventures. I’d make a great companion for kids over 5 and for someone with a securely fenced yard. Are you the family I’ve been searching for? I hope so!

Mikey's Chance Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please visit Mikeyschance.com to find out about our adoption procedures. We do not have a central facility where you can meet our dogs, because they are in foster homes. Once you have been approved to adopt a dog we will gladly arrange for you to meet any dogs that are potentially a good fit for your home. We carefully review each application and place dogs based on a variety of criteria. Ultimately, we will always act in the best interest of the dog. We will conduct a background check on each adult living in the home. We will contact your vet. Mikey’s Chance also conducts home-checks to assure the best possible placement of all our rescue animals. PLEASE NOTE: It is our policy to only adopt to homes where the current pets: Are up to date on vaccinations; Have been either spayed or neutered; and Have received routine veterinary care. Applications that do not meet this policy shall be denied.
