Gus is a 5 year old Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd and Golden Retriever mix. He is an active, affectionate dog who enjoys both relaxing days on the couch and getting outside for walks and exercise. He weighs 85 lbs.<br/><br/>Gus has experience being around small children, though he would thrive best in a home with young adults or older children. While he can be selective with other dogs, he has successfully adjusted to living with another dog in the past with proper time and introduction. However, he is probably best as the star of the show! <br/><br/>He would do best with an owner who can provide him with structure, attention, and regular activity while also appreciating his calm and loyal nature indoors. He’d love to have a fenced in yard to lounge around in and freely roam to stretch his legs.<br/><br/>Local adoptions only. We do not adopt out of the state of Illinois. Gus is being fostered in a private home. Appointments to meet him will be set up for approved adopters only. His adoption fee is $300 which includes all age appropriate vaccines. He is spayed, microchipped and Heartworm negative. He has also been kept on both flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
