- Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. Gunter has calcification in his neck and middle back. He started showing signs of this in his neck about a year and a half ago by Carson Valley Veterinarian. Last June he had surgery in Reno for lower back herniated disc, IVDD. He has not walked since. He is in and out of PT and also has wheels to get around outdoors.

Meet Gunter
Gunter is a sweet, special needs doxie who has plenty of love left to give!
Gunter had to have surgery on his spine almost two years ago now to relieve pain from a herniated disc, this left him unable to walk, so now he's got himself a set of wheels to get around! His owners are unfortunately having to travel and due to Gunter's needs, they will not be able to take him with them.
If you're looking for a friend who needs you as much as you need them, Gunter's your guy! He has lived with other dogs and cats and does well with them. Due to his mobility challenges he would not do well with small children but he does like older, respectful children.
Gunter is looking for a calm and quiet place to call home where he can live out the rest of his days in comfort.
