After spending years as someone's beloved companion, Gretchen found herself at the shelter when her owner lost their housing. Now she's hoping for one more chapter--one filled with comfort, kindness, and love.<br/><br/>Gretchen is looking for a very special hospice home to spend her remaining years.<br/><br/>She isn't asking for much.<br/><br/>A sunny spot to nap. βοΈ<br/>A few leisurely strolls.<br/>A gentle hand for chin scratches.<br/>A soft bed.<br/>And someone who sees the value in an old dog.<br/><br/>Despite her age, Gretchen still enjoys getting out for a walk and taking in the world around her. She's reported to be housetrained, does well with other dogs, and still appreciates all the little things that make life enjoyable.<br/><br/>Like many senior dogs, Gretchen comes with some medical considerations.
