Meet Greta!<br/><br/>Greta is a 3-4 month old English/German Shepherd mix! She came to B&B from SWVA with her littermates after being dropped off at the shelter. <br/><br/>Greta is a great adventure buddy. She is very active and always seems to be watching and learning. She is in a foster home with 12 other dogs and 3 cats and does great with both. <br/><br/>Great is very smart and will need an active family! She is already trying to herd and is a bit nippy, so children 10+ is required. She hasn’t met a skirt or flowy dress she hasn’t liked yet! This sweet girl will need the training of a GSD and has the herding of an English Shepherd!<br/><br/>Greta is being fostered in Glen Allen, VA and is up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and her spay around 6 months old. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.<br/><br/>Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.<br/><br/>Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
