Goose's Story

Meet Goose — Your New Wingman!
Goose is a ridiculously handsome, purebred German Shorthaired Pointer who is about 2 years old and officially accepting applications for the position of Best Friend, Adventure Buddy, and Full-Time Wingman.
First things first: Goose is NOT a hunting dog. This gentle soul is truly terrified of the sound of rifles, so his future will involve absolutely zero hunting trips. And honestly? Goose is perfectly happy with that arrangement. He has much bigger plans for his life.
Goose is looking for a human who needs a sidekick.
Want a running buddy? Goose is in.
Need someone to ride shotgun in your Jeep? Call Goose.
Concerned about sketchy squirrels conducting suspicious activities in your backyard? Goose will handle surveillance.
Looking for a dog with the most soulful eyes in the entire world? We found him.
But one of the very best things about Goose is just how gentle and loving he is. This boy wants to be close to his human—and we mean really close. If you're sitting down, Goose would prefer to be beside you. If you're walking to another room, there's a pretty good chance Goose is coming too. He isn't looking for someone who just wants a dog in the house. He wants to be part of your life.
Goose has that wonderful combination of being ready for an adventure when you are and perfectly content just being near his favorite person when the adventure is over.
And this handsome guy isn't just good-looking. Goose comes with an impressive résumé:
Potty trained
Crate trained
Neutered
Vaccinated
Microchipped
Heartworm negative
Loves other dogs
Loves humans
100% move-in ready
Goose would be happy in several different kinds of homes. He could see himself with a single person looking for a devoted companion, a couple ready for an adventure buddy, or a family with children 5 and older who wants a wonderful dog to grow up alongside.
What Goose really wants is simple: his person.
Someone to run with. Someone to explore with. Someone whose passenger seat he can claim as his own. Someone to snuggle up beside at the end of the day. And someone who appreciates a gentle, loyal dog who would much rather spend his life protecting the backyard from squirrels than chasing birds through a field.
Goose's adoption fee is $235, and trust us—you aren't just adopting a dog.
You're getting a wingman.
Please visit FairyDogmotherRescue.com and follow the instructions to apply for Goose.
Your wingman is waiting.
