Gio's Story

❤ ❤ FOSTER PUPS UPDATES !!! ❤ ❤ and our most precious boy GIO is still waiting for his loving forever home to call his own. WOW…. This sweet 9 year old sheltie boy has been one of the best shelties we have fostered here in Heart’s Promise Sheltie Rescue and he is a charmer. ❤ This 26 pound buddle of love has been the BEST of companions in foster care and so loves his people. MANY THANKS to our foster home with Sue Wyar and Gio has had the very best of care and… oh boy… Sue takes Gio for many outings and walks and local parks and they have so much FUN and going to many places for adventures. ❤ Gio is up to date will all of his vetting care, testings, vaccinations and had his complete dental and this active sheltie boy is ready to be a wonderful companion for a loving sheltie home. Gio is great with other dogs and would be fine with cats with introductions… and is very friendly and warms up quickly. ❤ <br/><br/>Gio is on a script food that has a more broken down protein for his tummy to absorb and he will need to say on his script food, and this is a must. Follow up vetting and bloodwork with Gio and any pup at 9 years old will need to be none every 6-8 months just to keep an eye on his health. This little boy is one great companion and will be a blessing in any loving sheltie home. ❤ <br/><br/>Gio will need a SECURE FECNCED IN YARD... He loves to be outside and explore the secure yard. Please… NO exceptions. We adopt to forever homes here in the state of PA and will consider adoption homes just over the PA state line, but we do NOT do long distance adoptions. Inquiries can be emailed to: mikelamontshelties@gmail.com or a reply here to his post on this adoption site. You can also contact HPSR and Mike for additional information with Gio at: 724-601-5159. Adoption applications can also be downloaded from our website at: pasheltierescue.org
