Meet Gino
Gino has officially arrived in his foster home and foster mom says he is the absolute sweetest! While we have Gino listed as a German Shepard possible hound mix foster mom is guessing their could be some Anatolian Shepard in there as well. This guy is still a pup at about a year old and around fifty pounds. He could probably stand to gain some as well.
Gino was a little shy at first and is getting to know what it’s like in his foster home. He enjoyed walking around in the yard. He didn’t seem to know what the TV was and was absolutely mesmerized by it. He also does seem to realize he is allowed up on the couch. We are thinking perhaps he was living outside.
Gino has meet several pups at his foster home! As you cans see he wasn’t exactly sure if the little dog Angel but they seemed to like each other. Gino also came in with his sister and they got along well.
Gino is doing great with his training. He seems to know to go outside and only initially marked. He is super quiet in his crate and in the home. Like very quiet!
He does great in the car but was a little nervous and drooled down foster moms shirt. So get ready for the drool until he’s more comfortable in a car.
Gino is a clean slate as this guy is still you g enough to train. He has been pretty subdued in his foster home. We were told while being boarded at the vet until a foster home opened he would get excited and be a little jumpy. He is not exhibiting that behavior inside the home so perhaps he was just a little excited.
If you want to make this smiling face a part of your family, apply today at https://www.rescueahart.org/! Gino is ready for adoption and fully vetted at this time.
All HART dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines, including bordatella and rabies. They are heartworm tested and on preventative for heartworm, fleas, and ticks. If you are interested in any of our pets, you must complete an online dog adoption application at www.rescueAhart.org . The application will put you in touch with this wonderful dog's foster family so you can schedule a meeting. Thanks! www.rescueAhart.org
