Did You Adopt GINO?

Meet GINO

GINO is a 4 - 6 year old, male, Yorkie Mix that was surrendered when his owner was no longer able to keep him. Gino has idiopathic epilepsy that went undiagnosed until coming into our care recently. Luckily, his seizures are controlled by a medication called Phenobarbital. Gino will need to remain on this for the rest of his life as well as have routine blood work to ensure his levels stay in the appropriate range and adjust as needed. Even with this medication, it is possible that he will still have a seizure on occasion.

Aside from this, Gino is a happy pup that gets along well with other dogs and cats, too. Gino is still working on house training, but with consistency, we think he will learn a routine in no time! Gino is neutered, up to date with vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped.
