Gillian's Story

She sure looks bigger than 26 lb and so the iPhone pegged Gillian as a pointer mix, but maybe there is some Whippet in there keeping her so diminutive? Her markings are distinctively pointer or spaniel, but come see for yourself and let us know your thoughts on her breed. Small, shy and skittish with sudden movements and sounds, Gillian has spent more time with other dogs than with people and is slow to trust even though she would love to go outside.

Gillian came from a home of many dogs and is estimated to be around 9 months old which probably means she may top out at around 35 lbs max. A home with accepting, calm dogs and adults would be ideal to help Gillian relax and feel at home.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
