This sweet, lovable little guy has a goofy charm that's impossible not to fall in love with. He's happiest simply being close to his people and is looking for a family who will cherish him as the beloved companion he deserves to be. If your idea of a perfect day includes relaxing on the couch with a loyal friend by your side, Gibney may be your perfect match!<br/><br/>Gibney can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe, his affectionate personality shines through. He especially seems to adore children and has formed a wonderful bond with his foster's 92-year-old mother, proving he has a special place in his heart for people of all ages.<br/><br/>In just a few days, Gibney has made incredible progress with house training. After a brief adjustment period, he has stopped marking indoors and is now consistently going potty outside in the yard or on short walks. He's a smart boy who continues to gain confidence every day.<br/><br/>He's also learning leash manners. Sometimes if he's unsure about something, he'll adorably flop down in a submissive "I don't know about this!" pose. With a little gentle encouragement, he's happy to keep going.<br/><br/>Gibney is a quiet, easygoing companion. He hasn't barked in his foster home, rides perfectly in a carrier during car trips, and sleeps peacefully at the foot of the bed or on the floor nearby. Since he has very few teeth, he enjoys canned food and has a healthy appetite.<br/><br/>His favorite place is wherever you are. Whether you're working from home, watching TV, or relaxing with a book, Gibney is content to quietly follow along and curl up nearby. He would love a home where someone is around much of the time, as he truly enjoys companionship.<br/><br/>Gibney is currently an only dog in his foster home and is doing very well, but he has also been friendly with the dogs he's met in the neighborhood. He could be happy as your one-and-only or with a calm canine companion.<br/><br/>He's still discovering treats and toys, so don't be surprised if snuggles become his favorite reward instead.<br/><br/>After only a short time in foster care, Gibney has already come so far. With patience, love, and a little reassurance, this incredibly sweet boy will blossom into the devoted best friend you've been looking for. If you're searching for a quiet, loyal companion with the biggest heart, Gibney is ready to meet you.<br/><br/>He is a breeder release and will need another dog in the home.
