George's Story

George, a kind sweet soul, is searching for a quiet, loving home where comfort comes first. Due to congestive heart failure, he needs a calm environment with a predictable routine, gentle activity, and lots of rest. George enjoys soft beds, peaceful companionship, and slow moments spent close to his person. Loud households and high activity aren't a good fit, but a serene home filled with patience and love would be perfect. With proper medication, regular veterinary care, and a devoted adopter, he can continue to enjoy meaningful, cozy days. In return, he offers deep affection, gratitude, and the kind of love only a special dog can give.
Please visit our website www.okwestierescue.com to learn more about this amazing pet, see more available dogs, and apply!

Oklahoma Westie Rescue's Adoption Policy
NOTE: You must complete and submit an application and be approved to adopt prior to being able to meet the dog. We do not ship our pets. Be prepared to travel to Tulsa, OK, or Oklahoma City, OK, or the location where this dog is fostered to pick up your dog in person if your application is approved. Once you are approved, you may adopt any of our dogs that is a good fit. We are a non-profit organization that spends our adoption fees and donations on vaccinations, surgeries, various medical tests, medicines, food and supplies needed by our dogs. Our fees do not cover the overall expenses incurred by the care of our dogs, but they do help defray the costs involved. We thank you for your support.
