Meet Garth: loves cuddles! (AL)

**Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, our Adoption Team has decided to officially put all adoptions on pause. The health and safety of all involved is of utmost importance. Blind Dog Rescue Alliance prides ourselves in our very careful and thorough screening process of all applicants, and with all the current restrictions in our country, this is just not possible. We would not be able to conduct in-person home visits, a very important part of the process, nor would we be able to provide transport. As applications come in, they will be placed on hold until restrictions are lifted. Once restrictions have been lifted, we will reach out to the potential adopters to see if they are still interested before proceeding. If you have any questions please contact adoption@blinddogrescue.org. We appreciate your understanding during these difficult times.

Garth is being fostered in Alabama. BDRA will assist with transport.

What Garth's foster mom has to say about Garth:
Garth is a sweet little man who doesn’t hesitate to let you know when he wants attention, is hungry or needs to go out! He will bark to let you know he wants something. Garth sometimes sleeps through the night, but not always. If he needs to go out he will sit up and move around to let you know. Garth prefers to sleep with you at night instead of in his dog bed. He loves to hang out with you when you’re home.

Garth likes to walk, which is good because he needs to lose another pound. He was a chunky monkey when he came into rescue. Garth would do best as a single dog, but he and my cat sleep next to each other every night.

Garth is also mostly deaf, but not completely.
Blind Dog Rescue alliance has voted against the use of electric fencing effective immediately.
