Meet Galileo, one of "Science" pups and brother to Newton, Einstein, and Edison: This cute-as-a-button little guy is a Dachshund and probably Miniature Pinscher Mix - we know that Mom is a brindle Dachshund mix, maybe dad has some of this tan coloring. He was born in foster care the day his Mom was rescued on April 8th.
Galileo is a confident and outgoing guy, he loves playing with the fosters other dogs and has discovered toys. He likes to hoard toys and will bring them one by one into his crate, where the foster dogs can't get them!
He is working on leash manners and house training and is progressing perfectly for his age - puppies at this age can't hold it for very long and need lots of repetition, praise, and frequent potty breaks. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night just fine.
Galileo is looking for a home with another dog - as he loves to play and someone home most of the day to continue his house training.
~Puppies under 6 months need supervised outside time to relieve themselves every few hours, so work-from-home or stay-at-home situations are required, or arrangements for the puppy for full-time working families.~
