Gale's Story

Meet Gale, a beautiful four-month-old Great Pyrenees mix who is looking for her forever family. True to her name, Gale is like a refreshing, gentle breeze. While most puppies her age are bouncing off the walls, Gale prefers a much more relaxed approach to life. She has an incredibly chill personality and is happiest when she is lounging near her favorite people, acting like a big, fluffy cloud of love. She is a sweet, calm soul who will easily steal your heart with her gentle eyes and affection.

Gale is currently making her way up from Texas and is scheduled to arrive in Virginia on September 10th. Because she is a Great Pyrenees, she will grow into a large dog. Pyrs are natural guardians who love to patrol and protect their territory, so we do require a securely fenced-in yard for her safety and happiness.

Don't wait until she hitches her ride to town—get your application in now so you can be approved and ready to welcome this sweet girl home the moment she arrives!

If you are interested in adopting there is an application below! This is the first step. We do not schedule meet and greets without an approved application.

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PDAR/Dog

98% of our adoptables come from out of state. There are higher fees associated as we have to pay to have the animals transported. We are a non-profit rescue. Any access revenue made is used to care for animals with additional medical expenditures that would otherwise result in adoptable dogs having to be left behind and euthanized.

The adoption fee for this dog is $550 which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter. You will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will need proof of sterilization from the vet in order to receive the $100.

Paws Deep Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
The first step to adoption, once you have identified a pet you would like to adopt, is to fill out an adoption application. You can speed up the adoption process by calling your vet ahead of time to give us permission to speak to them in regards to your current and past pets. You will be contacted to schedule an interview and a meet and greet after the adoption contract is approved.. We will need proof of age with a form of ID. Once we have gotten approval that you are allowed to have pets where you live, your adoption application is approved, the pet is altered, and adoption payment is received, only then will the animal be released. Some pets may be able to go home the day after adoption contract is approved others it could be a week. If the animal is deemed too young to be altered we will have the adopter sign a spay and neuter contract. The animal will need to be neutered when it is 6 months old and we will need proof provided to us by a licensed veterinarian. Once there is proof provided, the rescue will reimburse $100 of the adoption fee. If there is more than one qualifying approved applicant that is a match then the applicant who first inquired will get the opportunity to meet the pet and decide if they want to adopt before it goes to the next person in line. Note: Some animals will require home inspections or a fenced yard. Applying for a dog does not mean automatic approval. We reserve the right to deny applications. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_j7Qyk269a7uzMcOh1Ffx3PU9femw7Xd3t-Nj8TOfBE/edit Follow us on TikTok: @pawsdeepanimalrescue
